Not just hunting clothes, but best overall. I can say with absolute certainty that Sitka is the BEST clothing line on the market. I'm the kind of person that will spend 4 hours researching a $20 product and comparing it before a purchase. I've tried almost every brand of hunting clothing out there and if I haven't tried it, I promise I've spent countless hours researching it. OR you could add a base layer, mid layer, then the jetstream and you can get through some pretty nasty weather all the way through late season. Replace the t-shirt or add to with something like the ambient hoodie or jacket and you're good to go through mid season. Layer it with a t-shirt for early season to cut the chill/wind/rain. ![]() Add access for a harness behind the shoulders like on the stratus. Open up the forearms a little for layering. This is great for chapstick or ear protection. Move the interior chest pocket to match the exterior one like the old Stratus. ![]() Can a perfect product be improved upon? Sure. I can fit Leica rangefinder in the chest pocket for easy access, which is amazing. Admittedly, my Stratus bibs are as quiet as outer space, but there isn’t a buck on earth that will spook from a brush of the Jetstream. I bought an XL in Elevated II and am very happy with it. I wouldn’t mind a little bit more room in the elbows and forearms to allow for maximum layering when I need more than the three layers, but it works. I have fit my heavy duty puffy jacket under it, but it’s a little tight in the forearms. merino base layer, fleece jacket, and arc’teryx atom LT and my Stratus bibs under them without feeling bulky. I’m 6’2” 206 lbs with a 43/44R chest, and I could easily put a 260 wt. So far, I haven’t worn it much below 30 degrees, but with a puffy jacket, I could easily get down to 15 degrees. There’s a reason it’s their top-selling jacket.
